Restaurants in Kemi: Where to Eat | LaplandDining

Five restaurants in Kemi on the Bay of Bothnia: the seafront pavilion, two on Valtakatu and a harbour kitchen. Ratings, review quotes and menu links.

A sea town, and the tables follow the water.

Kemi eats along two lines: the shore and the main street. Kemin Puistopaviljonki and Pizzeria San Milano share the same seafront address on Meripuistonpolku, and Sataman Krouwi ja Perämeren Jähti is down at the harbour. In the centre, Pieni Lohikäärme and Ravintola Mori face each other across Valtakatu. Puistopaviljonki has by far the most reviews here; San Milano the highest rating.

Two of them share one address on the seafront — Puistopaviljonki and San Milano.

Kemi is on the main railway line from Helsinki, so this is one of the few Lapland towns you can reach without a car.

The harbour restaurant is a different season from the centre ones — the SnowCastle winter draws the crowd.
