Most of Ruka's tables are a short walk from each other in the village at the foot of the front slopes. On Rukatunturintie are Restaurant Burger Cafe & Bar Ruka, Pizzeria Ruka, Riipisen Riistaravintola, Ravintola Vespino and the Talonpöytä café in the Kumpare shopping centre; on Rukankyläntie are Colorado Bar & Grill Ruka, Ravintola Kaltiokivi at Scandic Rukahovi and Rinneravintola Piste. Further out are Royal Ruka on the south side of the fell, Ruka Trek's café on Vuosselintie, CAMP Kitchen & Bar in Ruka Valley and Iisakin Talo by Lake Rukajärvi.
Ruka belongs to Kuusamo, so addresses say Kuusamo or Rukatunturi even though Kuusamo town is 22 km to the south.
Some kitchens close for part of the autumn and reopen in November for the ski season, so check the restaurant's own site before you go.
